The first live StoryTown Radio Show of the year is entitled “Love Leads the Way.” Performed in February, it celebrates Black History Month and tells love stories. Listen to stories of couples meeting, stories about leadership in Jonesborough, and about how that leadership was on display at the Booker T. Washington School. The skits range from heartwarming to outright funny. This month’s musical performance will feature a special reunion of the cast from the play CROWNS by Regina Taylor that was performed at the McKinney Center in 2023. The reunited cast lends their soaring voices to beautiful gospel music with the help of Brett McCluskey. The show also features information from Walter Buford of Community 365 and performances of original poetry from Jasmine Henderson. Performed on February 26th, 2024
