An episode from the vault. "Visitors and Travelers" first aired July 27, 2015. Since its founding in the late 1700's, Jonesborough has always welcomed travelers, serving as the last town before the wild frontier of the west. The old Stagecoach Road runs through Jonesborough. The dawning of the train age set tracks through town, and the train whistle is still heard several times a day. The Historic Chester Inn housed visitors "from off", with its parlor serving as the town's center of news and stories from afar. This episode is filled with stories of travelers through the years, some touching down for a moment, others returning and setting roots, but all of them having an impact on the Town's growth and change through the centuries.
