Featured are stories about Janette Gaines, an American Sign Language teacher with twin daughters who are hearing impaired; ETSU’s professor Delanna Reed, a driving force in the Storytelling Community; and the Pack Mule librarians, who helped increase literacy in hard-to-reach places across Appalachia. The founders of Pine Mountain Settlement School and stories from the archives at the Heritage Alliance are also brought to life. Special Musical Guest is Momma Molasses.
